The Story Behind ECI Maintenance

ECI Maintenance was founded in gratitude to the incredible residents of Millennium Town Center who believed in me and trusted me as their handyman.

For ten years, I drove across the U.S. as a FedEx Ground truck driver. But in June 2013, a friend gave me an opportunity that changed my life—he introduced me to the world of property management and maintenance. I started as a Make Ready Technician with Grand Atlas Property Management, where I learned everything from the ground up: repairing, cleaning, and preparing apartments for new tenants.

I took full advantage of the opportunity to grow, earning certifications including EPA 608 Universal Technician, Certified Pool Operator, and credentials in General Plumbing, Electrical, and Small Appliance Repair. With those skills, I advanced to a Maintenance Technician role, and by 2016, I was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor, overseeing 276 units, a team of 4 employees, and around 10 contractors.

Over the years, I built lasting relationships with tenants—many of whom became homeowners. I continued helping them with repairs, lawn care, home improvements, and custom additions. Thanks to their support, encouragement from family and friends, and the many glowing recommendations, ECI Maintenance officially launched in 2019.

Today, ECI Maintenance proudly provides general maintenance, home improvements, and lawn services to individuals and small businesses—offering dependable, skilled, and personalized service with a strong foundation built on trust and hard work.
